Terms and Conditions: No Refund for Online Courses and Test Products

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing any online courses or test products. By making a payment, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Payment and Delivery:
1.1 Payment: All payments for online courses and test products must be made in full at the time of purchase.
1.2 Delivery: Upon successful payment, access to the online course or test product will be booked on behalf of customer request and test card only be issued by official bodies we are not responsible for any loss and damage.

2. No Refund Policy:
2.1 Refunds: We do not offer refunds for online courses and test products once the payment has been made.
2.2 Service Failure: In the rare event that we fail to deliver the purchased service, a refund may be granted within working 5 to 7 days.
2.3 Eligibility for Refund: To be eligible for a refund, the customer must notify our support team within 48 hours of experiencing service failure.
2.4 Proof of Service Failure: The customer must provide sufficient evidence to demonstrate that the service was not delivered as promised.

3. Non-Transferable:
3.1 Online Courses and Test Products: The purchased online course or test product is non-transferable and cannot be assigned or shared with others.
3.2 User Account: Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their user accounts and ensuring that they are not accessed by unauthorized individuals.

4. Intellectual Property:
4.1 Ownership: All intellectual property rights related to the online courses and test products, including but not limited to text, graphics, videos, audio, and software, are owned by only official bodies.
4.2 Non-Commercial Use: Customers are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the online courses and test products solely for personal and non-commercial purposes.

5. Disclaimer:
5.1 Content Accuracy: While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date content, we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided in the online courses and test products.
5.2 Individual Results: The results obtained from participating in our online courses and test products may vary depending on individual effort, commitment, and other factors beyond our control.

6.1 Changes to Terms and Conditions: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Terminology

  • ECSC LTD. “we,” “our,” “us,” and “ours” refer to ECSC

  • Customer: “you,” “your,” “yours,” “candidate,” and “customer” refer to users of www.myecsc.org.uk and individuals accessing our services.


Important Notice

By placing a booking you confirm that you have read, understood, and fully accept these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

General Terms and Conditions

  • All bookings and services are subject to these Terms and Conditions.

  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The version displayed on the website at the time of booking applies.

  • Minimum age for any service: 16 years.

  • All payments are processed in Great British Pounds (GBP) and are non-refundable except as expressly stated below.


Booking Confirmation

You will receive confirmation by email and/or text within 48 working hours. If not received, contact us immediately at info@myecscard.org.uk

No Switching of Booking Type

Once a booking is confirmed, you cannot switch between online and in-centre/test-centre modes or between different assessment types. It is your responsibility to select the correct service before payment.

Rescheduling Policy (All Assessments, Tests & Exams)

  • Rescheduling is allowed only once and only if requested at least 72 hours (3 full working days) before the original booking date/time.

  • A valid reason (e.g., medical emergency with proof) may be required at our discretion.

  • Requests must be made by email to info@myecsc.or.uk

  • Any request received less than 72 hours before the booking will not be accepted — the booking will be treated as a no-show and 100% of the fee is forfeited.

Cancellation & Refund Policy (Applies to All Services)

  • Once the service has started or been delivered (e.g., login details issued for online exams, test date has passed, course date has passed, card application submitted to the official body, etc.) → no refund is possible under any circumstances.

  • If the service has not yet started and cancellation is requested at least 5 working days before the scheduled date/service start:

    • Refund of 80% of the total amount paid.

    • 20% administration and cancellation fee will be deducted.

  • Cancellations with less than 5 working days’ notice, no-shows, or failure to attend → 100% of the fee is forfeited.

  • Online assessments/exams become strictly non-refundable and non-transferable the moment login details are sent.

One-Day Courses Specific Policy

  • Cancellation more than 31 days before the course → refund of 80% (20% administration fee deducted).

  • Cancellation 31 days or fewer before the course → no refund.

  • Once the course has taken place → no refund.

Card Application Policy

  • Once the application is submitted to the official card scheme → strictly non-refundable.

  • If cancelled before we submit it → 80% refund (20% fee deducted).


Health & Safety Assessments / Online Exams

  • Online assessments: non-refundable once login details are issued.

  • In-centre assessments: subject to the general 72-hour rescheduling rule and refund policy above.

  • No switching between online and in-centre after payment.

Liability

We are not liable for any losses, expenses, or lost earnings arising from cancellation, rescheduling, non-attendance, incorrect ID/documentation, technical issues, or any problem at the test centre/training provider.

Consumer Rights

These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
