The Experienced Worker Card is specifically for applicants who have already completed a JIB-recognized Level 3 technical certificate but have not yet achieved a full industry qualification, such as an NVQ Level 3.
⚠️ Important: Card Validity

18-Month Duration: This card is valid for 18 months only and cannot be renewed.

The Goal: It is issued to professionals who are in the process of completing their formal industry qualifications to meet ECS Gold Card standards.

Next Steps: During the 18-month life of this card, you are expected to complete your NVQ Level 3 (often via the Experienced Worker Assessment) to upgrade to a Gold Card.
Eligibility & Requirements
To qualify for the Experienced Worker ECS card, you must meet the following two criteria:

Technical Theory: Provide proof of a JIB-recognized Level 3 electrotechnical theory qualification (see the approved list below).

Health & Safety: Hold a current ECS Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) Assessment.
